NHS Flu and Covid Vaccines
Flu and Covid can leave you seriously unwell — and for people in higher-risk groups, they can lead to a hospital visit or worse. The good news is that you don’t have to wait for protection.
At Fusion Pharmacy in Glen Parva, you can get your flu and Covid vaccines quickly and locally. Both vaccines can be given in the same appointment or separately, and our pharmacists will explain what’s right for you.
Do I qualify for free jabs?
This service is FREE for:
- Adults aged 65 and over
- Adults aged 18–64 with certain health conditions (e.g. diabetes, heart disease, chronic respiratory disease)
- Pregnant women
- Carers and frontline health & social care staff People with a weakened immune system
It’s also free for
- Children eligible under the NHS Childhood Flu Programme
- Adults aged 16–74 with a weakened immune system for the Covid vaccine
- Other groups directly invited by the NHS if considered high risk
If you’re not eligible, you can have h a private vaccine

Step 1: Book or walk in

Step 2: Clinical assessment
Your pharmacist will have a brief, private chat to confirm your details and answer any questions.
Step 3: Get treated or referred
If suitable, you’ll receive your flu and/or Covid vaccine. We’ll provide aftercare advice too.
