Can I use both our prescription app and the NHS App?
Yes — you’re free to use either app, or even both. They’re fully compatible with the NHS system, and your nominated pharmacy will remain set to Fusion no matter which app you prefer to use.
I’m with another pharmacy how do I join Fusion’s prescription service?
Switching to Fusion takes just a few seconds:
Open either the NHS App or our PharmAppy-powered app
Go to “Nominate a pharmacy” > Select Fusion Pharmacy.
Can I get my medicines delivered?
Yes — we offer local medicine delivery, especially for patients who may find it difficult to collect in person.
Just let us know through the app, by phone, or when you place your repeat order, and we’ll arrange delivery for you.
Are my prescriptions safe and secure?
Absolutely.
Both the NHS App and our prescription app (PharmAppy) connect to the secure NHS network.
Your data is encrypted end-to-end, and only authorised NHS or pharmacy professionals can access it.
Fusion Pharmacy is fully GPhC-registered and follows strict confidentiality and data-protection standards.
Do you keep everything in stock?
We stock 95% of commonly prescribed medicines every day.
If something needs to be ordered, it typically arrives within 4–24 hours, and we’ll let you know as soon as your items are ready to collect or deliver.
What if my prescription isn’t showing in the app?
This can happen if:
- Your GP hasn’t authorised the repeat yet
- Your pharmacy nomination is still updating
- The medication is a one-off (acute) prescription
If something appears missing, just contact us — we can check the NHS system instantly and guide you from there.
How far in advance can I order my repeats?
We recommend ordering 7–10 days before you run out.
This ensures time for your GP to authorise the prescription and for us to prepare everything, including ordering any items not currently in stock.
Can I switch between your app and the NHS App?
Yes — whenever you like.
Both apps work seamlessly with the NHS system, so feel free to use whichever is easiest for you. Switching apps doesn’t affect your pharmacy nomination.
What’s the difference between Fusion Pharmacy and Fusion Pharmacy Direct?
Fusion Pharmacy is a local community pharmacy.
Patients visit the pharmacy in person for NHS services, prescriptions, vaccinations and private consultations.
Fusion Pharmacy Direct is a separate distance-selling pharmacy service.
It is designed for patients who prefer to order prescriptions and receive their medication by delivery rather than visiting the pharmacy.
Both services are operated by the same professional pharmacy team and follow the same clinical standards.
The difference is simply how patients choose to access their care:
• Fusion Pharmacy – for patients who use the pharmacy locally and attend in person.
• Fusion Pharmacy Direct – for patients who want their prescriptions managed and delivered remotely.
