Who can use this service
Women aged 16 to 64 with an uncomplicated UTI. It's free if you don't usually pay for prescriptions. If you do, any medicine supplied costs the standard NHS prescription charge.

- Pain or burning when you pee
- Needing to pee more often or urgently
- Cloudy or strong-smelling pee
- Pain low in your tummy
How it works
- Walk in or book. Ask to see the pharmacist. You don't need a GP appointment or referral.
- Consultation. In a private room, the pharmacist asks about your symptoms and medical history and checks whether you meet the NHS criteria.
- Treatment or referral. If suitable, you'll get treatment and aftercare advice. If not, we'll give you advice or refer you to the right service.
When to get urgent help
Call 111 or go to A&E if you have pain in your side or back, a high temperature, shivering, or blood in your pee. In an emergency, call 999.
